Heyo people, I've been absent (once again),

but today I'm here to bring y'all MORE of my

OCs. This time's two for one! Let me introduce

you to the Chicory twins, Maia Chicory, & Kralis

Chicory!

As you can see, even though I introduced them as "twins", they don't really look much alike, yes? Well, that is because they aren't really related at all! They only pass up as twins because they agreed to pretend to "be twins", using the fake name "Chicory". Their real names aren't even "Maia" or "Kralis"!

In fact, nothing about them is "real", not even their physical appearances. This is because they're both under a curse that was cast upon them, causing her lives to be intertwined, so they cannot be separated, lest they are punished with physical transformations and wormhole teleportation. So they have to be always together and work together to be in "peace", as they search for a way to be freed from this curse.

I created them both when I was around 12-14(don't remember exactly when, but they definitely came after Akai & Amber). I did not create both girls at the same time though, first, I designed Kralis, and around a month later, I made Maia. So despite them both having the same biological age in "canon", Kralis's date of creation is juuuust a little bit earlier than Maia's. ;)

Their backstories are a bit convoluted and it'd be a loooooong trip re-telling them in the same space, so, let's skip that, their backstories are a secret, just like their real names and appearances! ^^;

So let's talk about how they look now!

Due to the curse they're both under, they are trapped in their twelve years old bodies, however, they have lived like that for years, so both of them are currently over 18 years of age. They both are slim girls who share the same height (1.45 m) and body shape. They both have heterochromia. Kralis Chicory's eyes are green(right) and blue(left), and she has big and dark bags under them, on top of always having a tired expression. She also has piercings on her left eyebrow, and on both of her ears. Her short hair is lavender, straight, always messy, and very greasy. She wears a dark purple knit hat with little blue hearts on it, which also has a blue ribbon with dark purple hearts tied to it. She wears a matching sweater and a pair of gloves with opposite colors: green with orange fingers on the left hand, and orange with green fingers on the right. She wears a black skirt and striped socks with dark purple and blue hearts.

Maia Chicory's look is quite different. Her hair is green and very curly, carefully kept in place with a dark purple ribbon with orange stars tied to it. Her eyes are pink(right) and yellow(left), and always has a judging expression on her face. Her outfit is very close to a school uniform, consisting of a white shirt with a dark purple tie with an orange star on it; a green belt with a silver buckle, and a dark blue skirt, along with white socks and green shoes. She wears a pair of gloves of opposing colors; red with blue fingers on her right hand, and blue with red fingers on the left.

Kralis is very apathetic and lazy, her favorite hobby is doing nothing and she can keep awake for two days in a row or sleep for 20 hours straight. She barely eats and is a little too fond of alcohol, her preferred drink being rum on coffee. She's actually very talented in art and music, playing the violin and making watercolor paintings skillfully, but she does not think highly of this talent, or herself as a whole. She does sometimes play the violin on pubs for money to spend in these same pubs, and sells her paintings under a fake name. She has a very low self-esteem and a very poor image of herself; she believes that no one cares about her and thus, does not see anyone as friends, even those whom she'd hang out with often. The only other person she actually cares about is Maia, despite this feeling not being mutual. She is an aro-ace tomboy. She likes to engage in self-destructive behaviour, and she's always wearing long sleeves and socks to hide the fact that she wounds herself when she's "got nothing better to do", and has attempted to end her life at least 3 times. She has depression. She talks in a very sarcastic way and often overshares her inner turmoils because, even if she feels like she's lost all hope, she wants someone to help her out and still longs for a miracle to happen and her curse to be dispelled.

Maia on the other hand, is a "workaholic"; she's always doing something, from keeping the house they live in, to whatever jobs she may find. She's not talented or experienced on plastic arts, but has good redaction skills and can write good articles. She's crazy for organization and would freak out if something is out of place. She does not have any particular hobbies, but wehn she does take some time to rest, she would sit down and listen to some music while smoking a cigarette. She wakes up too early and goes to bed too late. Her cooking is not good, but does what she can. She stresses and struggles a lot and constantly thinks the whole world owes her and sees Kralis as an ungrateful parasyte that is leeching to her and that if not for the curse they have on, she'd be at a much better place. She belittles everyone else and is very hypocritical, she thinks she's above everyone and nobody is as good as her or even close enough, and thus, is always unhappy and miserable. Despite this though, she has fallen in love with Midnight Sun, who is clearly way out of her league, and she also hates him because of that, loving and hating him at the same time. She is a bisexual with gender dysforia. She's cold and rude and "never has time" to spare, she does not want to be helped despite being a living emergency alert, as she refuses to search for a way to get rid of the curse that both her and Kralis share, blaming everything on Kralis. Now, as this is a magical girl fantasy story, they both gotta have special powers, right? This curse didn't only make their bodies change, but also gave them seemingly random superhuman abilities: Kralis can float over any surface, which is not quite flying, but is good enough for her to not walk on the ground ever again, and the ability to camouflage herself among the shadows. Maia can see perfectly in the dark, which is, even in the darkest of nights, everything looks like it's a sunny midday to her, warping her concept of time, much to her own chagrin; and she can also control her own hair, which is actually very long and strong, like it's a set of tentacles, but she normally only uses this power to keep her hair always in perfect order, as she views this power as gross. They do not share the same powers. They also have their own weapons: Kralis has her violin, which is modified to transform into a crossbow; and Maia, although later in the story, has a two-handed sword chained to her right arm. They aren't magic users.

Welp! Those are my OC's alright!

As you can probably tell already, all my OCs

seem to have dark and troubled backstories

(although I didn't touch on these girls' ones this

time, but they definitely play on that stereotype

of "little girl who's actually an adult"), and be all

edgy and gritty, but that's because I created them

back when I was a pre teen going through that phase! ^^;

I swear my most recent OCs aren't like that!

In the end, all my OCs are actresses playing

parts in the big theater play that is Universal
