Well here I am sharing another one

of my OCs with the world; this one

was the second OC I created, a few

years after Stardust Reverie, mainly

because I was following the trend of

Steven Universe OCs and I wanted

to have a gemsona because all my

friends at the time had one. As time

went by and I started creating my

own story I needed to change her

so instead of being a "Gem" ripped

out of the Steven Universe world, I

tried to make her more like a typical

D&D golem, with extra steps. (?)

Still quite inconsistent imo, but oh

well! Here I introduce you, to my

OC, Amber Elektron!

This is Amber Elektron. She's an amber! This is one of the few characters whose design hasn't changed a lot over time. She looks just the same now as she looked back in 2014! Though with a much better and more refined art style. ^^; Her backstory and personality did change a lot over time, since she didn't really have a "backstory" when I first created her. She represents my doubts, my indecision, my anxiety, and the fact that I'm constantly having inner monologues ;w; She may seem tough in the outside, but she was lonely for most of her life so she's a real softie deep inside.

Amber Elektron is the last survivor of a planet inhabited by ambers like her (since I want them to be more like "golems", I made them biological creatures who are born and die instead of being created and shattered and so on and so forth...), which, long story short, her father had affairs with witches and necromancers that went terribly wrong so a deadly plague consumed all life in the planet, and she survived because she witnessed her father's death by his own madness and the horror and shock she experienced was so strong that she sealed herself and drifted through space, sleeping for centuries until she was discovered by Drowing & Yukarin, and brought into the White Ship to be taken care of, which caused an awakened Amber to see Yukarin & Drowing as her parents, as she had lost her memories. After becoming a member of the White Ship crew, she started to have nightmares where she saw herself as a dark figure destined to obliterate all life starting with her "parents" Drowing & Yukarin, and felt a distant star calling her, so one day, she told all of this to the Captain and the Comet, who decided that maybe Amber was subconsciously remembering her home planet and if they took her there she may recover her memories, so following her lead, they traveled to her planet devoid of life, and found the crypt where her father died by cutting his own head off with a cursed scythe that he crafted with the help of the witches in the past, a weapon that would allow him to conquer the planet, but only a female amber could wield, making his daughter, the catalyst to fulfill his plans. Amber, hypnotized by the scythe's aura, reached for it and held it in her hands, causing the curse to enter her body, so Drowing and Yukarin had to beat the curse out of her, using Yukarin's magic to restrain her, and Drowing's sacred powers to dispell the curse. Then Amber returned to her senses, with her newly recovered memories, and now cleansed and purified, the cursed scythe transformed into a golden halberd of light that channels her soul's power, allowing her to persist in time, making her immortal and unbound by death. So Amber, now reborn, free from her past but without a place to go, decided to stay with the White Ship crew, the only people who cared for her and showed her love and trust, to be their guardian angel and fight for them. Now that's quite the edgy backstory! She went from grim reaper to palladin in one battle!

Amber is a really tall woman (200 cm of height), with yellow skin and eyes, her hair is gray and short. Her gemstone, a round, orange amber, is at the middle of her chest. She wears an orange tank top that has only one strap, and red shorts with yellow stars on them. She also wears a yellow glove in her right hand, and orange high-heeled boots. Despite her looks, she's very strong and powerful.

She is a very quiet person who prefers to keep stuff to herself and does not speak too often. She acts aloof and almost even cold, but that is because she's in reality an extremely awkward person, due to never have had friends and the only other person in her life was her mad father, so she does not know how to feel towards people who treat her well other than being extremely grateful. Though she does not show her emotions often, she deeply loves Yukarin and Drowing and acts like a child around them, and is friends with Stardust Reverie and goes along well with the rest of the crew. She does not know much about the world, but is willing to learn through her own experiences, she was stripped off of the right of having her own life, only serving as a tool, so she wants to recover all the time she lost, after all, she didn't become immortal just to sulk over the horrors of her past!

Being an amber, she has the innate power to control electrity and being immune to it. Her body is constantly giving off electrostatic and she can control the intensity of it so it doesn't become a nuisance. She also glows and flickers depending of her emotions, stronger emotions can cause her to be as bright as the rising sun or to flicker so fast that it is unsafe to look at her directly. Though she doesn't know how to melee fight, she's unstoppable when using the halberd. She can't use magic, but can resist it and is immune to curses, though she's weak to illusion magic. She also can feel the individual presence of living beings, allowing her to know the race, species, and gender of every living thing around her even without looking at them. That way she can feel if there is life and where it is.

She does not have any particular hobbies; she often just wanders around the Ship on her own, watching Yukarin and helping her and Stardust in any chores they may need a helping hand. Sometimes she chats with them and/or Runavel, but she prefers to treasure her alone time and do nothing at all, often taking naps, as being asleep for so long while she was sealed caused her to actually love to sleep. She likes her peace and quiet.

In one particular mission where Yukarin had to go to the Moon, Amber sensed that there was a girl trapped inside of a giant crystal and immediately wanted to free her. That girl was Misty, and after she was freed, became best friends with Amber and moved together after Stardust and Reika decided to adopt Misty as their daughter. A happy family!

My voice headcanon for Amber is the Japanese seiyuu Minami Takayama.
